Krystal Clear Topcoat

Krystal is a new generation of post-catalyzed conversion varnish finishing system that offers the ultimate in durability. Krystal’s high solids, water white, non-yellowing formula was specifically designed for interior wood surfaces that are exposed to extreme moisture, heat or household chemicals. This self-sealing system has outstanding application and sanding properties. Easy to apply with any equipment. Available in 275 and 550 VOC compliant formulas.

Product Test and Performance Characteristics

Krystal has undergone rigorous quality testing to verify performance and application characteristics. The M.L. Campbell laboratory has formulated Krystal to meet or exceed the required performance levels established by KCMA for finishes. Krystal meets the AWI performance standard TR-6 for chemical and moisture resistance. Krystal has been tested utilizing the following ASTM and KCMA test methods: 5=Excellent, 4=Very Good, 3=Good, 2=Fair, 1=Poor

Chemical Resistance Evaluation

Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand substances typically found in kitchens and bathrooms. Exceeds AWI TR-6 specifications for chemical resistance. Contact and dry time of each chemical is in accordance to AWI and KCMA test procedures.
