By using INSERTA and CLIP technologies from the hinges, Blum has developed a process by which the drawer is almost entirely assembled without tools and adjustments can be made with ease. What this means is that Blum's most sophisticated and technologically advanced drawer system can be assembled, installed and adjusted quickly.

Measure inside cabinet width
Use inside cabinet width (ICW) to calculate bottom and back dimensions.
M height example:
Drawer bottom: Width = inside cabinet width minus 75 (2-15/16")
Length = actual cabinet profile length minus 24 (15/16")
Drawer back: Width = inside cabinet width minus 87 (3-7/16")Height = 84 (3-5/16")

Attach drawer back
Rear fixing brackets are attached with #6 x 1/2" truss head screws. The drawer back, with rear fixing brackets attached, snaps into the rear of both drawer profiles.




Slide drawer bottom into drawer sides
The drawer bottom slides into the drawer profiles.






Attach drawer front
Follow the installation drawing for locating hole positions for front fixing brackets (and optional gallery rods if used) and pre-bore the necessary INSERTA Ø10 x 12 holes (screw-on versions also available). Attach front fixing brackets and snap drawer front onto drawer.


Attach drawer bottom with screws
Push the drawer bottom flush with the front of the drawer.
Pre-bore and attach wood screws.
Attach cover caps to drawer side.
