KrystalŪ Products/Test and Performance Specifications
KRYSTAL has undergone rigorous quality testing to verify\r\nfinishing and application characteristics. The M.L. Campbell laboratory has\r\nformulated KRYSTAL to meet or exceed the required performance levels\r\nestablished by KCMA for finishes. KRYSTAL meets the AWI performance\r\nstandards TR-2,TR-4 and TR-6 for chemical and moisture resistance. KRYSTAL is not a urethane coating. KRYSTAL has been tested utilizing the following ASTM and KCMA test methods: 1= poor, 5= excellent Hot/Cold Check Resistance
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand hot and cold cycles for prolonged periods. Passes 20 cycles. Cross Hatch
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to adhere to various substrates and/or finishes. Rating of 5 (excellent). Blocking
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand any finish defects from stacking or packing after 4-hour drying time. Rating of 4+(very good). Print Test
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to be print-resistant. Slight print after 24-hour drying time (very good). Wet Heat Resistance
Purpose: Test the ability of the finish to withstand high wet heat for long periods. Rating of 4 (very good). Edge Soak
Purpose: Test a coating's ability to perform in relation to a coated cabinet door's resistance to detergent and water. Passes. Chemical Resistance
